Curieusement je fus convi\u00e9 \u00e0 participer \u00e0 la r\u00e9flexion.<\/p>\n<p>Les propositions que je fis alors, visiblement en d\u00e9calage complet avec les attentes implicites des commanditaires, furent syst\u00e9matiquement \u00e9cart\u00e9es. Ma premi\u00e8re proposition, notamment, jeta un grand froid dans l\u2019assembl\u00e9e. Prenant en compte le fait qu\u2019un tel \u00e9v\u00e9nement serait c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 et observ\u00e9 par la plan\u00e8te enti\u00e8re, il importait d\u2019\u00e9mettre un signe fort \u00e0 la face de l\u2019humanit\u00e9, toujours sensible \u00e0 l\u2019image des Lumi\u00e8res, de la r\u00e9volution et des droits de l\u2019homme, attach\u00e9e \u00e0 la France. On ne saurait se satisfaire des feux d\u2019artifice \u00e0 la symbolique troublante et autres festivit\u00e9s qui en diraient trop peu sur la vision que nous aurions d\u2019un futur si proche.<\/p>\n<p>J\u2019avais donc propos\u00e9 de lancer un appel au peuple pour la r\u00e9\u00e9criture des paroles ambigu\u00ebs de la Marseillaise. Le nouveau mill\u00e9naire consacrant la r\u00e9duction de la plan\u00e8te aux proportions d\u2019un village, sinon d\u2019un hameau global, je pensais qu\u2019il convenait de reconsid\u00e9rer les relations de voisinage. Nous avons trop clairement oubli\u00e9 ce que le sang des autres, nos prochains, nos proches, aurait de suffisamment impur qu\u2019on se propos\u00e2t d\u2019en abreuver nos sillons, et de prendre les armes pour cela.<br \/>\nLe projet n\u2019eut pas le temps d\u2019\u00eatre abandonn\u00e9 faute m\u00eame d\u2019avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 entendu. Je travaillai dix ans plus tard sur la dimension symbolique de l\u2019arc de Triomphe, monument national au propos si peu ambigu que j\u2019entrepris d\u2019en reconsid\u00e9rer la symbolique pour clarifier son message et en faire un questionnement plus qu\u2019un porte drapeau. Je repensai alors \u00e0 ce projet, et dont je per\u00e7ois maintenant plus que jamais l\u2019actualit\u00e9. Apr\u00e8s le monument national, c\u2019est l\u2019hymne national qui m\u00e9riterait d\u2019\u00eatre questionn\u00e9, repens\u00e9, r\u00e9\u00e9crit. Monument et hymne pr\u00e9tendent repr\u00e9senter nos valeurs, il est de notre responsabilit\u00e9 que ces derni\u00e8res soient respect\u00e9es. Quelles seraient les paroles qu\u2019on aimerait chanter?<\/p>\n<p>Pour en finir avec l\u2019esprit de clocher va-t-en-guerre, ne faudrait-il pas imaginer l\u2019hymne que la terre enti\u00e8re nous envierait car il aurait du sens en tous lieux de la plan\u00e8te? Un hymne national fonci\u00e8rement international. Je mesure encore aujourd\u2019hui la difficult\u00e9 d\u2019un tel projet qui doit \u00e9viter Charybde et Scylla, ang\u00e9lisme et nationalisme, pour d\u00e9finir ce qui rassemble un peuple par-del\u00e0 les fronti\u00e8res. www.sansarmescitoyens.org<\/p>\n<p>*Dans l\u2019exposition Out of the Dump, CDA d\u2019Enghien les Bains mai juin 2011, Le visages des internautes chantant l\u2019hymne qu\u2019ils ont \u00e9lu est projet\u00e9 sur le buste blanc de Marianne, tel qu\u2019il tr\u00f4ne dans les mairies, qui semble pour l\u2019occasion porter la nouvelle parole du peuple.[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=&#8221;image_grid&#8221;
