Dans les champs d\u2019attractions qu\u2019ils g\u00e9n\u00e8rent, ces flux informationnels viennent se substituer aux champs magn\u00e9tiques de la boussole dans la d\u00e9termination des directions \u00e0 suivre. De la pertinence \u00e0 la commodit\u00e9, les parcours individuels expriment la tendance r\u00e9sultant de ces champs que les instruments de navigation se doivent de traduire.<\/p>\n<p>On ne cherche pas ainsi \u00e0 contraindre l\u2019utilisateur \u00e0 suivre un parcours s\u2019il ne le souhaite pas. Bien au contraire on appr\u00e9cie ses \u00e9carts pour infl\u00e9chir les propositions et faire de la recommandation une lecture attentive de ses d\u00e9cisions. L\u2019outil est ainsi le serviteur exigeant de son ma\u00eetre qu\u2019il convient d\u2019interpr\u00e9ter, d\u2019accompagner, de devancer. Bien qu\u2019elle \u00e9mane d\u2019une machine, cette lecture n\u2019est n\u00e9anmoins jamais servile puisqu\u2019elle prend en compte la complexit\u00e9 des d\u00e9cisions individuelles dans leur signification collective.
