Eric Montoya is an American prominent contemporary artist, graduated from Seattle Art Academy. He had more than 50 personal exhibitions all around the United States. This piece of art, Wisteria, perfectly created an image of a gorgeous lady by the smart integration of the leaves, flowers and the sky. In Eric Montoya’s work, he tends to blend the boundaries between man and nature. It pushes the boundaries from superficial beauty to the inner personalities (Anima) turned toward the individual’s unconscious desire and the tenuous position of confronting that desire. The series then deals with the Animus of « nature » as viewed through seasons, elements and stages of life.
Nowadays, women usually have heavy makeup and their mindset towards beauty changed diversely. Many pretty girls are mold under different kinds of plastic surgery and no longer nature.
