TITLE: NATURELAND

INTRODUCTION:
Nowadays, our earth becomes weakness and danger. People keep on to do the harmful economic activities to damage our environment and no doubt it exacerbates the global warming and damage our earth.

MEANING:
This artwork is going to let people understand why is global warming so harmful for the environment and also teach the children the importance of protecting our earth.

DESCRIPION:
This artwork mixed by the installation and new media. The player who wearing the specially made glasses and holding the IPAD will be placed in “NATURELAND” than start his adventure.

HOW TO RUN:
(1) The player will firstly meet the “Dryad”. They can press the button to hear what it wants to say. For instance, the “Dryad” will say. After this, the player have to make a decision* between kill it or plant it. Later on, when the player choose his choice by the IPAD, the specially made glasses will bring him into a 3D world to see his choice lead to what effect to the world.

*Different decisions will cause different result and the players have to discover it by themselves.

(2) Then, to continue the game, the player will come to arctic and meet the polar bear. When the glacier is melting and the sea level is getting higher and higher… What is the player’s decision this time?

ENDINGS:
(1) END OF THE WORLD:
The flood will cover the whole world. The earth is no longer to breed any life in there anymore.

(2) BECOMING DEATH CITY:
The whole world will cover by the gray cloud and cannot see the bright light anymore. People will live in a dark world with many diseases and disasters until the end of the world.

(3) INVISABLE FUTURE:
After people try their best to remedy their mistakes to save the earth. There are finally a bit of hope can see. The global warming is slowing down. It gives more time to people to keep on doing those protections for our environment.

(4) USELESS REMEDY:
It is too late to remedy all of our mistakes. People still live in the world regretfully until they use up all the natural resources.
