Electronic Fish Bowl

E-Fish-Bowl is a digital art project which is capable of man-machine interaction, and can be potentially used for exhibition and decoration. The fishes are all animated digitally, and are projected on a big glass wall for display. We can touch the fishes directly, have fun with them, even talk with them by our mobile phones. I create this concept digital art with the motivation of searching a new method of communication: the communication between human beings and virtual animals.
Proposition/Concept
E-Fish-Bowl是一个基于数字艺术的，用于展示、装饰或人机互动的电子鱼缸。它将真实的鱼群数字化，把鱼儿们的运动过程显示于有机玻璃中。人们可以把这块有机玻璃当作真正的鱼缸来欣赏，也可以与电子鱼群逗趣，并能够通过手机应用程序与其中的任何一条鱼进行文字对话。设计该概念艺术装置的目的，是希望通过电子鱼缸，探索出一种新的展示和沟通方式——人类与虚拟动物的直接沟通。
How?
>1.虚拟鱼群被显示在特殊的有机玻璃上。
>2.在展览中的电子鱼缸被打造成一个圆柱体的形状，参观者可以在外围或者进入内部参观，体会“电子海洋世界”的感觉。
>3.当参观者用手指触摸有机玻璃时，鱼群就会游过来围绕在手指旁；当手指点击有机玻璃时，便可以进行喂食。
>4.每条鱼头上显示了它们的名字。当参观者进入展览区域的时候，连接网络的手机会自动收到一个应用请求，通过该应用，参观者可以@任何一条鱼与其进行交流。
